The main structure of this rehabilitation center, was determined by certain institutions nearby in the center of the Lower Austrian city St.Pölten. 3 different building elements, which fit together but aren‘t connected directly, are placed around a former tram shed which should ramain as an urban ruin for relaxation and meditation. The heart of the project is a community kitchen in the centerbuilding. It supports social inclusion of patients with their e nvironment. They cook together with students and the working class and eat together inside or outside in the park. The therapy area is placed one floor below to guarantee calm and safety.
